Biographical info

I have worked as a van driver, a farm hand, a wine merchant and a photographer; as a teacher in mainstream education and in a therapeutic community for maladjusted adolescents before becoming an Advisory Teacher for Drama in Hampshire. I then took up a post at the University of Reading, where I led B.Ed and PGCE courses in drama.I resigned my post as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Film, Theatre and Television at the end of the 2005 academic year in order to concentrate on writing and working freelance. I now work as a writer, director and educator; and am currently working on a novel and a new stage play.
